Using KiteKin
KiteKin is a kitesurfing community platform. You can browse anonymously; some features (Rider Log, check-ins, reviews) require an account.
You agree to use KiteKin in good faith. No spam, no harassment, no impersonation. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this.
You retain ownership of all content you post (session logs, beach notes, reviews). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on KiteKin.
Forecasts and conditions
Wind and weather data is provided as-is. We aggregate from multiple sources (Open-Meteo, ECMWF, GFS, community reports). It is informational, not gospel.
Always check official local sources before going on the water. Kitesurfing carries inherent risk; KiteKin is not a substitute for instruction or judgement.
School listings, gear reviews, and event details are best-effort. Verify directly with the operator before booking or travelling.
Payments and refunds
KiteKin is currently free for riders. Schools, shops, and event operators may purchase premium listings — those are governed by separate commercial agreements.
Bookings made via partner schools are between you and the school. KiteKin is not a party to those bookings.
Liability
KiteKin provides this service "as is". We do our best to keep it running, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access or perfectly accurate data.
Our liability is limited to what is permitted under applicable law (EU consumer protection rules apply where relevant).
